What to Expect During Your Visit

Check-In

Upon arrival, please check in with our receptionists. If you are a new client or bringing a new pet, arrive a few minutes early with any available records. This helps us get started on your pet’s file and review the information with you.

Technician Exam

After checking in, a technician will guide you to an exam room. They will conduct a preliminary exam, including taking your pet’s temperature, pulse, and respiration rate. They will discuss the reason for your visit, address any preventive health care due, and relay your concerns to the veterinarian. Feel free to ask about additional services such as nail trimming or ear cleaning—our scheduling team can confirm pricing and add these to your visit.

Doctor Exam

The veterinarian will perform a thorough physical examination. They will discuss your pet’s overall health, any findings from the exam, and any vaccinations or routine care that might be needed. If further tests or blood work are required, the veterinarian will create a customized treatment plan for your pet.

In some instances, the veterinarian might suggest bringing your pet to the treatment room to collect samples. At the end of the visit, they will inform you about any follow-up visits and any additional care your pet might need.

Medications and Home Care

Before you leave, the technician will prepare any necessary medications and explain how to administer them. They may also demonstrate home care techniques such as tooth brushing or ear cleaning and provide you with educational materials or online resources.

Once your questions have been answered, our receptionist will assist you with checking out and scheduling any future appointments. We will follow up with a call the day after your visit to check on your pet. If you have any concerns, our medical staff will be available to assist you.

Feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable for you and your pet.
